I decided to name the almost-done song Promising Mediocrity, because you analyzed the words so interestingly. It gets some pun points. The song can be promising the world will only be mediocre, or the mediocrity of the world can be showing a little promise. It can be depressing or not.
yeah, thats how i got it
i found some confort
isnt that awful?
i was like, at least (one hopse the apocoipse wont happen tonight, like that movie) it will be like this
it can only get better
or somthing
yeah
but the way the song is done its not "it can only get better"
or it will always be like this at least
its like "weve been trying for 600 frigin years and nothing has budged"
lol
well, things have budged
I mean, girls didn't used to have shopping trips
I think it may be promising that the things you have to change aren't the world to make it better, you have to just do it yourself
you can save the whales but you're still a jerk, unless you decide not to be
learn about the ones who spent their lives coming before... I mean, that's like Da Vinci and Jefferson and people who thought of everything before it was possible
a little space the mindless race would appreciate a little more... Seth wrote that one line, I dunno what it means. Make something up. It was "human race," originally
I thought that was a little too obvious
or something
more privacy? less controle, idono
yeah
the ideals Andrew's trying to subliminally invoke:
"Spectrum is the new Emo. Appealing to a more intellectual base of impressionable American youth.
hm.
And some crazy German and Dutch fan groups.
I'd rather not be emo... yeah
I said the new Emo. Not at all like Emo. But roughly filling a similar role. Just a different demographic. It would be unique in the world. The fashion of musically, logically, and linguistically gifted subsectors of the population. Think of it, Ryan! Total influence over the ruling class of the next generation.
lol
I could go on.
don't forget the culinarily gifted.
Oh, yes. The people who will feed the ruling class of the next generation. Do you understand the potential there?
No. Explain it to me.
Subliminally, we can control the dietary preferences of these chefs... Who will, of course, be in charge of the restraunts where the powerful dine... And will, with there politically active cuisine, influence policy decisions in business and government!
right, and what are we going to do then? We have wildly different political agendas...
Not in one area... social liberty. We (hopefully) agree that there need be a greater level of social liberty than that currently allowed in the US.
Yes.
And politicians hooked on Cannabis Chicken au Flambant are not likely to support the illegality of MJ.
And I'm not talking about Mr. Jackson.
"
Suddenly, the lyrics of the song fit our subliminal political agenda
?
we can analyze it however we want, because I wrote it in a dream and it doesn't have to mean anything
maybe dreams make the most sense
maybe not though
so little is remembered
I know
I wish I could remember more
