Some of the orchestration, I must admit, was superb. There's a lot to be learned from a piece that can use every last Hollywood trick without sounding like absolute trash.

Whoo. I am done with pops. Not that I minded watching the dancers every night for four nights plus an afternoon. They were good. Bit more difficult to come in for Frosty after Rudolph, though. Hm. Chicago, but with reindeer.

Between performances we all went to the private dining room at Birraporetti's for overpriced food. I ate half of Tony's from the buffet, but then I paid him for it. Yay. I have money. Salad and Bill and them went to Warren's after second concert, and it's always smoky in there, so I came home. I wonder if Sarah and her friend actually used my comp tickets. Mama gave them to her, despite the fact that Prince almost ate them. He ate the envelope. What is with him? He is an idiot. He ate half of several hundred-dollar bills last time we had those. None of them more than half though, so we didn't lose anything...

Rehearsal for Baroqueness tomorrow, performance Tuesday, and then octet caroling Thursday. Oh, yeah. This weird tenor, new for this concert series, keeps coming up and talking to me and confiding in me like he knows me or something. I've forgotten his name, but as we were leaving, he caught my arm and asked if I was doing octets on Thursday, and said he'd been roped into it, too. At least he's not the weirdo on the stairs at Ian's party, who wouldn't tell me his name... experience to block, rather than relate here.

Why has it been weeks?

Must write something good.
