I think this is my favorite kind of weather. When we came out of Sewell, which has a courtyard sort of underground but open to the sky, it was sunny and the sky was shimmering blue with a few bright white clouds. For about half an hour. Then it was thundering and pouring about an inch of rain. For about five minutes. Then it went back, with the exception of the ankle-deep puddles studding the grounds. It kept changing its mind, and while I was walking home I passed under several pouring clouds, but walked back out from under them. It's so nice when there's enough sun to get the water rushing down the gutters hot enough to bathe in comfortably. I like heat. And it's such a relief after the classroom which keeps its thermostat at 55 (not kidding).
