I simply cannot go through this every time I hear/see/read something cool. I can compose, draw, and write. I just can't do it that well yet. I may never get up to that level, but that doesn't mean I can't do anything at all. Though it hardly seems worth trying.

Mozart wasn't modest, but Brahms was. Look who wrote the good cello sonata, look who wrote a cappela motets when that sort of thing wasn't fashionable; hint: it wasn't Mozart. Go on, be modest. It is the recognization of our weaknesses that allows us to conquer them.
