Linguistics is finally starting to be superlatively fun. Yay for phonology! Consonants! Vowels! This kind of reveals the extent of my vocal dorkness.
Five cheers for the Durufle Reqiuem. Even if it is more fun to sing than listen to, as I am discovering with the help of the library. Another thing I am discovering with the help of the library is that Rautavaara wrote a LOT of stuff. And he's not dead yet. I could say the same of some other composers, but Reggie brought Rautavaara to my attention and now I know he is cool.
College fair tomorrow. It will be okay. Despite the fact that Reggie will go to college, that is almost two years away. Stop worrying. What an odd perspective to have on college, though. I don't have to worry anymore about getting in anywhere. Though I suppose scholarshipness requires reapplying every year. But that's not a big worry, either.
It is now possible to go get a driver's license. Not my highest priority. My voter registration dealie came in the mail. I'm so old.
