Augh. I don't think my back will ever be untense again.

Mahler 9. I will now commence to throw myself out Stephan's 8th-floor window.

No, you can't do any throwing of your body out of windows. You are our college advisor/mezzo-soprano to whom we owe our quasi-dependentness.
If you jump, you will miss the October 3rd modern music concert. You will also not be able to help us perform "Sin Dormir" on the 10th.
But you said you had already commenced it... if you are reading this now, you must have already changed your mind about bungee jumping sans bungee.
Oh, and I have some improv exercises that are, well, pretty complicated comming up, so we need at least one extra conductor in the future.

There is an October 3rd modern music concert? Where have I been? And are you coming to the craziness on the weekend before it? We can improvise on the roof and play with candles and howl at the recently-full moon.

What You Missed

On October 3rd the Foundation for Modern Music will open its 2004-2005 Music of Today Concert Series with ‘20th Century Piano Metamorphosis.’ ... Gary Norian, one the finest Jazz pianists in Houston, will also be participating... music by Gyorgy Ligeti, John Cage, Philip Glass and John Corigliano among others.
Place: First Cumberland Presbyterian Church - 2119 Avalon Pl., Houston, Texas 77019
Time: 5:00pm
Ticket Information: Door: $20.00 Advance: $17.50 Senior/Student: $10.00 Season: $90.00"

Improvise on the roof? I want to improvise on the roof very badly! We should do an improvisation incorperating the indeterminate noise of the outdoors and record it... with very long rests. In fact, a very quiet piece, mostly rests.
Invite me because I want to show up.

Re: What You Missed

Please show up. Saturday noon till Sunday concert. You are hereby invited, not only secondhand by Rainey to whom I have given the authority to invite people, but firsthand by me whose birthday it is on Monday. And then we will go to the Modern Music concert. Despite the fact that at 5:30 on the same day is the best bass masters' student's recital with RACH ART SONGS but it's okay because it will be good.

Re: What You Missed

Saturday at noon is good, but if you want (and are allowed) to spend two nights, we can pick you up from school Friday, and you can hear the chorale concert/president of Rice speeches Saturday morning. That goes for everybody.

Re: What You Missed

Ok. I will be having a group "thing" in the music hall till 7:00 on Friday(probably room #1133[Is that the number? One of those rooms in the hall that runs right through the middle.]), so I'll see if I can't arrange something around that. On Sunday at 7:00, I have to perform the Crumb, also at Rice, so, saying all this accomplishes...

Re: What You Missed

1133 isn't in the middle, those are the 1400 rooms, but we can get you from there if you want. Nooo problem. And we can take you back to Rice after Modernmusic concert. Or if it goes over we can do David Herrington's recital.
