Obsessive. Gah. I've been lurking on AIM just in case he happens to sign on. I've really missed the intelligent conversation. And I'm kind of fogheaded from the first day of Chemistry today. I mean, I could have a conversation with "myself", but I think it would be more productive to talk to someone who doesn't know me well enough to anticipate and elaborate on my answers and vice versa.
Mama drove me for the first day, but tomorrow I'm waling. It was going to be at Butcher Hall, the Science Lab, but they're finishing construction, so now it's a Sewell Hall. It's still only about 6 blocks away. I had to fix it in my head, but now I remember how to get there without asking the shuttle drivers. The Chemistryis not so memorable. I mean, Gah. Mirf. I've been expanding my dictionary. I now have some terms which might well be of interest to the general Ailurian public:
rarare (verb)- To sing. (participle - rara).
ra (interjection)- What. Expression of confusion.
niar (noun)-Wide smile, grin.
ben (adjective)- Good, beneficial.
e (preposition)- To, toward, as a result of, promoting.
aran (noun)- Web, net. Also, spiderweb.
mairn (noun)- Blood. Also, family ties, honor-binding, revenge.
li (preposition)- Under, beneath.
natare (verb)- To swim. (participle - nata).
rilare (verb)- To suffer. (participle - rila).
af (noun)- Pain. Usually undeserved.
u (also, per). (preposition)- Through.
melan (adjective)- Black, dark.
savinare (verb)- To protect, save, conserve.
savin (noun)- Protection, conservation.
n' (also, m'). (prefix)- Of, pertaining to, about.
on (noun)- Voice of the heart, soul-song, emotional expression.
ri (adjective)- Seeking, searching, open.
eth (suffix)- Clan, of the clan of, family of.
az (noun)- Person, individual.
ngua (noun)- Tongue.
And still expanding. I have some more that are less relevant, but I figured you people would want to see these particular ones. Think about different combinations. Particularly names. He likes this stuff, too. He sure would be a big help. Even more with the science end of it. Maybe he could help the time pas for Chem homework, too. I finished it all but the second reading assignment before class was over, but I think he'd enjoy the discussion. I'm feeling uncharacteristically lonely lately. Somebody get on AIM and TALK to me! At least I haven't been crying hysterically.
