Aw. I love fandom. Seriously. Unironic enthusiasm is the best thing ever. Common-experience joy. Especially at a concert. 3000 people (sold-out hall) screaming their heads off at every opportunity, loving something so hard that it trickles out their ears. And when Nobuo Uematsu came onstage, it was like the world was made out of shrieking glee.
It went well. No trainwrecks, and of course everyone loved us.
I got home and went over to Dan's to watch movies and though we were halfway done with the first one (La Jolla surfer gay romance) by the time Joodles showed up, there was still :) to spare. We got through another one (Estuary footballer/nerd romance) all together before Joodles begged off to sleep, and I kind of need it too.
BUT I WILL DYE MY CK SHIRT TONIGHT.
