The ice creams are both tremendous. For your information.
Mama, Grandjo and I went to Heather's house this morning, where she and Marissa (and their respective husbands) are taking care of their collective babies. Heather's son, Alexandro Jorge Rodriguez (her husband's name is Jorge), likes to stand up. Marissa's twins, Sebastian Christopher Salles and Vincent Christopher Salles (guess what their dad's name is), are as different as twins could possibly be in hair color, size, and temperament. All three of these blobs of humanity are under 6 months old and don't do much, so naturally I was more interested in playing with Heather's 120-lb Great Dane, whose name is Zero (after Tim Burton's canine star of the silver screen).
It was good to see the cousins, though. Amy's daughters have caught up with and passed Lisa's sons in the progeny department; Paul and Kevin each have a kid, and Kevin has another on the way. Heather and Marissa seem to be doing well in a kind of tribal way. Chris showed up out of the back room near the end of our visit, cause he didn't realize we were there. I still approve of him (not that it's my prerogative to approve of in-laws). He's cool. Jorge wasn't there.
I mentioned on the way back that I've had enough of babies for a long while. I can understand the appeal, but at this point I don't feel it. Bleh.
