Oh, dear.

My poor computer will never be the same. It would not behave after the data finished copying over, so I tried deleting some of it, and then it froze. Now it will not startup past a screen in which Terminal code of a fairly terrifying and yet amusing nature (panic:We are hanging here) is superimposed over a set of six or seven different languages telling me I need to restart my computer (in which case the same thing happens). I am taking it to the Apple store for help, but I also need to go to the chiropractor. I washed Prince this morning, and my back is quite unhappy about it.

It is functional! This is my first entry from here, with wireless and everything. I have not yet checked all the documents, but the applications at least, including the obscure OS9 games, seem to be doing all right. The Apple Store said it accidentally deleted the operating system I'd just installed when I dragged-and-dropped the recovered data to the hard drive. So, I won't do that again.
