I did ALL of my laundry. Three loads in a commercial-sized washer. Nyah.

Now for my evil baroque concert that I get to ride to with Dan and Kira. Talking to Dan is a difficult game, but it's fun even when I lose. And then after that, off to the orchestra rehearsal for the evil Christmas Pops. I am going to be so beat by the end of the night.

Listen to a cd. Kremer is funny.

I know. Sight-reading... ech. I still have everything in my repertoire that I ever learned to play half-well. It takes me eons to learn, but then I know it forever.

It was boo. Charpentier Small Christmas Mass with Latin pronounced the Medieval French way is just blah. Vivaldi Gloria is good if you apply yourself, but I don't wanna work that hard. It's just... old. Though the cellists are playing viol-style with no endpins and the trumpet has no valves and the oboe is made out of what looks like a massage roller... Kind of interesting, but not interesting enough to make up for standing two hours straight. My clavicles hurt. I must not be holding my music up healthily.

Christmas pops is just as mindless, especially for sopranos, who must sing the melodies of popular Christmas carols OH NO what a challenge... But it leaves us free to watch the dancers. Yes, there are dancers. No, they are not profound, but Rudolph the Red-Nosed reindeer is worth looking at. In fact, I would say that whole sequence is worth sitting through a mind-numbingly cheesy and corny and schmaltzy concert. Performances are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and two on Sunday, in case anybody wants to buy an $11 student ticket.

I can sit under stage lights in a black sweater and velvet pants and not get hot. I win.

Is it weird that the most lucid and reasonable treatise on sexuality, and then religion, that I've read to date is in the middle of a Harry Potter fanfic?
