Since I have no idea what has been arranged or where Rainey's house is (I've lost the address and I didn't drive last time I went there), I may be late. Not that I am terribly essential to the rehearsal. I will call someone tomorrow, since it is probably not advisable to call right now.

I have ten cds and a poster and a copy of some Piazzolla to give you.

I have jasmine tea, for I ran out of the tea from England and Sarah gave me some of hers. My sketchbook is happy. The last madrigal dinner was the best. I never did bootleg it, but it will be good next year, too. Dan Williamson sang well in studio today; his high d is most impressive. Dan McNickle spoke well at dinner tonight; his Buckingham accent is most impressive. It's difficult to talk to him, though fun. It's like singing a song you don't really know, but with reasonable chord progressions. It's a lot like talking to Salad, except that it is so subtle that you can't really take anything that way without losing the game, and even responding too obviously isn't nice. Telling when he's kidding is difficult, because he's such a nice person it could all but the least plausible be true and nothing would be weird. It's much more rewarding to win this kind of verbal sparring, but I am not very good at it, and there are big pauses while he waits for me. Harder than Salad, but then I've been fending against Salad for three years now. I wasn't very good at that at first, either.

The Cohen House silverware has their coat of arms stamped on it, and the plates and saucers are glazed with it. It's a real house, with a banner and a motto in Hebrew, I think. My whole mouth was blue from a candy cane. I looked like the Fifth Element Diva. It was cool, but not very madrigalian. Maybe now I will sleep. I got an extension on my paper.
