Riding a bike through the pouring rain has got to be THE most relaxing thing in the world.

Well....

Hmm...

Actually, not. Preceding the bike ride was more relaxing.

Music never hurts.

Augh! I'm home early and nobody cares.

Well, the rehearsal was fun. Aside from the soloists cutting about half of our stuff so they could have it... Well, phu. Everything really does sound better with the orchestra, though. We brought TLK to lend to Roger, cause he's never seen it, so he needs to and then he'll understand the music. That, also, was tremendous. I don't know if the feline associations help, but the interlude almost always makes me cry.

And then I had a good after-outing... we went to Solero, Bill and Ian and Karen and Mama and Chuck and I, and...... Salad! He's back (he was at rehearsal yesterday, but didn't stay after) and recovered from jetlag. He wasn't terribly lively (still slightly ill, and got a cold on the way back from Aberdeen), but it was really good to see him. It's not cancer.

I managed to keep my feet out of my mouth tonight (metaphorically). I was actually participating in the conversation, and though they did have rather to slow the pace, I made a few comments that produced genuine snickers. It helped that my mom was on the other end of the table.

Ian touched and seemed fairly harmless about it. I like those. I like touches. Skritches are good, pats are better, tracings are the best... Never mind.

I need to transcribe this song and take it to school.
