Tom had a lecturer at rehearsal today, from Westminster college... his name was James Jordan. He's amazing. He said things about the nature ot music and envy and truth that are too profound to repeat. And he confirmed my opinion of Tom and solidified my resolve to go to Rice because Tom is there.

You're in luck, juniors. I'll still be here next year.

I didn't realize... the obligation on Friday is a concert, not a rehearsal. The orchestra rehearsal is Thursday.

If anybody wants to come to Spaghetti supper, the tickets now are 7 bucks. It's your last chance for me.

I just discovered a game called Four Truths and a Lie. It looks really fun, except... no, it looks really fun. Nobody would respond, though, because the people who read this know all my secrets. Hmm. Maybe at school.

Fun rehearsal. Krajewski always lets us out early on piano rehearsals; he goes through it all once, fixes little stuff, and then we're gone. So I hitched a ride immediately with Bill to his house to the bike to Taco Milagro (my mom's still not home; she's probably still in the parking lot talking to Corita). All the sleazes were there, and they're fun; we played a game in which the leader asked a question and everybody wrote down an answer on a paper with their name, and the leader read off the answers to somebody who had to guess who said what answer. It was amusing. I had fun. Next time we have free time, we're playing that and Four Truths and a Lie.
