I bought Tony's ticket for him. I am now doubly committed. That means I have to pick a dress. Dang.
There's really no way to describe this kind of afternoon. I will attempt to summarize.
I showed Reggie Rice, because he didn't know. The fountain, the marble, the columns, the trees, the quad...
We looked at Klimt, Parrish, and Lalique books, while listening to Moody Blues and the concert yesterday (plugged my speaker into his minidisc player) and the Rice concert cd.
The herbs in the back never smelled so good; we found the lavender and picked an unopened magnolia, and it's sitting here in a cup by the computer. He didn't know what they smelled like.
B9. Glorious shrieking (though Ididn't get to hear the first three movements).
Back home till his dad came, lying on the bed laughing at the possessed cd player and the kittens, listening to the Eagles album Zaphod gave me. And the standard ten or fifteen minutes in the front yard while our parents talk and talk.
:)
