Mama's church people had a free lunch today at 3 at Raven Grill, which is three blocks down Bissonet from our house. We walked over there and got stuffed. Salmon, strip steak, rice, green beans, scallop soup, chocolate cakey thing with raspberry sauce, apple/cherry crisp, coffee... could barely walk back home. Church people were nice, too. I sat across from a nice lady who makes glass beads, and she was happily impressed with my glass and metal travails. There was also this old guy who was introduced to me, and I don't think he believed my name was Ryan, because he asked three times and then told me I was a very pretty girl. ? ... Anyway. I'm having a good week. The Boston helps, too.
