It's amazing what difference two Aleves and half a day can make in my mood. I was about ready to crumple into a ball on the floor and wrihte in inexpressible pain, moaning incoherently. Scratch that; I WAS ready, and I did. It was not pleasant. I usually s ay no to drugs, but Kellen had Aleve, and Bryce didn't have Midol, so I capitulated. It took over an hour for it to kick in, so I was still miserable, but the day got progressively better. I got a 91 on a practice AP English test that everybody else faile d and most people got below 40; several people made zeros. I didn't tell anybody my grade for fear of a lynch-mob afterschool. The pop show I was required to go to last night (made us late for a Symphony Chorus orchestra rehearsal) was passable, but the audience wasn't. The repercussions of the crowd were echoing through the school today. And then I repaired Jenn's head-thingy, replaced the rocks she lost for $2.00. I feel so rich. Soon Su...nvrmmn...

Afterschool was warm, waiting for Mama, after the freezing school (except for the theory room, which has a swamp in the AC, and it smells like one too). There was Pink Floyd in the car, and Mama got the cds from the last Rice performance, which I'll listen to after I get off the comp (have to concentrate).

There was an overwhelming feeling of well-being as I sat in the warming car listening to the last Floyd song of a block, waiting for it to end before I got out to go in the house. Life was good. I have homework, but it's not hard, and I'll end up doing it at the last minute, but I'll do it, and it'll be okay, because it always is, and even if I don't, it'll still be okay. And it's the weekend, and I might see Suz, and I might see Jen (hey, it could happen), and I might get both of them to meet India, wh o ought to have been in MS with us. She knows about me, and she's my wire-apprentice, and a fan of fantasy, and can read out loud like a pro recording. She's my regal Laura to add. And maybe Bryce could handle it, too. He's got a life, though. More than o ne. Oughta be a cat.

Speaking of which, somebody git yer hinny over here and play with my hair and rub my tummy. He gave me a book. He came across the bench specifically to ask me if I wanted a book. And I loved it. It's 7 greek plays. I think I'll go ba sk now.ÄÄ

It would hafta be before lunch... but if by some random chance you are awake, give me a call. I'm glad you're in a good mood. I'm oddly happy this morning... eeheeheeheeheeheeheehee...! ~Nia
