People have been having bad days today, but mine was not so bad. Kind of a nice vegetative day, though slightly worried about amount of stuff to do.
Composition for the April 29th concert are due this Thursday final, which means he'll want to see them tomorrow. I don't have enough done.
I'm two units behind in English again, deadlines having gone by. No essay motivation.
Calculus test tomorrow, on which I wil DIE like the mewling mathwimp I am. Though I studied with Bryce today, so I might not be as dead as I otherwise would be.
Two CBE's to take before April 15th, on languages I have not studied for a year, and four years, repsectively (using a dictionary to translate poetry into approximately grammatical Latin does not count).
Physics test on Thursday on a unit I have not started the homework for and thus know nothing about.
But today was a vegetation day. Conducting (no teacher on Mondays), then Jazz History with an easy test, then Masterclass with operaworkbook time, then lunch! With exclamations over stuff to show Reggie, then Madrigals, with class-after-concert nothingness in which to go to the library with Bryce and play intergration-and-derivative-formula games (very good and helpful: http://larrytrout.com/business/Calculus/calculus.html has links to the derivative and integration formula games). Then Composition, which has no teacher, just me in a practice room, and Reggie skips French a lot to come help me; this time we got another page of opera done. It'll be fun, the 29th; you all should come see. Another chance to hear Jen's song.
Anyway, more unstress after school with the dress rehearsal for the Rice Chorale concert tomorrow... we got two new pieces today, but they're both really easy, pretty Hebrew stuff (Passover's apparently tonight, and the concert's tomorrow) and a couple Spirituals yay. Ezekiel, which we did at school, and Balm in Gilead, with a lot of basses volunteering low D's, E's and F's that are not in the score (oooooooooooooooooooooo yay). And then right after Chorale rehearsal was Max Wier's junior recital (he is GOOD) and he did a bunch of Handel (yawn), Beethoven (a little lengthy), Faure' (yaaay) and Vaughan Williams (oooo I wanna try it). We stood around for a long while afterwards talking to Ben Jaber, got reminded to go to the reception, and ate some good reception food. Ben got an anonymous donor to give him $8000 bucks to get a spectacular new French horn from the specialist in Canada who apparently is the leader in the world at the craft. I am excited for him.
So, not too much stress. I am playing more calculus games and avoiding an essay.
