Julia was in a terrible car accident, taken to the ICU and unlikely to recover from her coma (her boyfriend believed it until she walked into his class at 7th period (third of the day). He cried).
Jenniffer's pregnancy was confirmed. She treated Patrick horribly (he said he couldn't afford an abortion) and cried her face into blotchiness in the bathroom. (I believed her for about ten minutes, though I didn't say anything and she didn't let up till lunch).
Tony's parents arrived at lunch to tell him they're withdrawing him from the school; he can sing the concert tomorrow, but Monday he goes to a private school in Seabrook cause they're tired of driving him all the way here, and they can't stand the corrupting influence of this art school anymore. (Mr Seible looked like he was fooled, though he didn't react when we gave him the note from Tony's mom with the letter inside saying Fool's).
In the more serious side of things, I got another page of opera written during composition at 9th period. Reggie came down after he finished his French test, and helped me... Bryce got out of Mixed Chorus (he's the student conductor of all those little fish and sophomores) and came to my practice room and played and I sang Erlkoenig for Reggie. He was very impressed with the eighth-note triplets at quarter=152 that Bryce's right hand had to sustain for the whole song. I love that song, and so now does he. He wants to play it. I want to sing it with him. Ee.
Rehearsal after school is best not mentioned. Bleeeh. At least it only went till 4:15
Mama didn't come till 6:20, however.
But Andy and David are here and David is enthusiastic about making hilts for Nabil's swords. Yay. And I have Dvorak9 in my head.
