SO fun. So, so fun.
After coming home from composition club, mama wasn't home so I couldn't ask if Reggie could stay, but once he got home and online mama finally got home. He wished I was there, so I figured I'd ask... And yay.
Robert and Joy and Grandjo and mama and I went to House of Pies first, though, and that always takes forever, and then we were all in one car so we had to bring them back home, and Grandjo sort of objected on mama's behalf for her driving me to the other side of town... She said, well, I could just stay a couple hours and then drive you back. I said that was fine, unless I slept there or something, and Grandjo asked if Reggie was a guy and I confirmed it and she said well, then that's not appropriate. She so much does not know. Mama agreed with me. Anyway.
It was 7 before we actually started going to Reggie's house, and I made some navigational errors, so we got there around 7:45, but then we spent three and a half glorious hours showing each other so much music. I brought three Led Zeppelin albums, a Journey, a Boston, Sixth Wave, and a Yes... He showed me Brahms 2, Kabalevsky, several exceptional movie soundtracks... And we looked at all his old compositions on the computer with their tinny midi files.. so funny. And Project Andrew. I'll tell you all about that sometime. Sonata for Piano, Car Horn and Gun in C# major. Haha.
And we laughed and played with the cat and exclaimed and I am now SO tired. Every time it's like all the enthusiasm I ever had is concentrated in my shoulders and face, and I absolutely wilt at the end, if I haven't conserved enough energy.
