The Bernstein has coalesced surprisingly since last rehearsal, but there are still some few who seem to have no interval-reading skills at all. I think the sectionals helped; we spent the whole first half with men and women separated, then the first fifteen minutes of the second in our 8 sections for the part that has 8 different ostinatos to find... It was fun. Tony liked it.
Chuy's was surprisingly dull. Salad's offshore in Louisiana, I think, and Kim can be awfully annoying when combined with Ian's encouragement and Bill's benign ignoring. Fi is too polite to talk across mama, so I sat there next to Bill and ate his food (after I finished mine...)
Rice tomorrow! With Carminaaaa! If anybody feels like volunteering, he's still looking, and the rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays, 4-5:20. People join just for Carmina.
I have Led Zeppelin, Boston, and Lakme. I'd say my collection is complete, but that's just for now.
