Strange dream.

I and some girl I appeared to know (and before there was some other person, but not for long) in the dream were captured during a party in this house, by what seem (upon waking inspection) to be werehyenas; they look like humans, but didn't smell right. This girl was either smarter than me or stealing my ideas right before I could finish vocalizing them (I _hate_ it when that happens, slowmouth), because the queen hyena didn't seem to speak much English and I figured out that what she was speaking to her attendants in was Russian. Well, there's not much I can say in Russian, but I figured a show of respect might prevent us from being eaten, so I tried to suggest the first line of Svyete Tihiy (which in the dream meant something about Hail Mother; it doesn't, it's about the Gladsome Light first), but she was a halfstep ahead of me and "came up with it" first.

Annoyment. There was this conjunction of staircases on one level, which we kept hiding in... One could only be entered from the top, the other from the bottom, but somehow you could get into the room at the bottom of one from the other and be safe. This is where we did our thinking, and there were M&Ms in jewel-toned glass bowls on the table from the party, and near the end of the dream David got in the room and remarked how he'd have to clean up his room, because parties were so messy, grumble grumble... So it was David's room, which explained the welding equipment, but did that mean I was being threatened by hyenas in Grandjo's house?

Mama woke me up right as I was reaching for the M&Ms.
