I haven't been doing anything, really, Ally, but it might look like I have. Nothing is going on, Nabil.

Tomorrow: I am going to be a GIRL. I will wear my windsock. This will be difficult to accomplish on the bike, so mama may take me to school and pick me up in time for Sam's recital at 5, and then to Ally's for a round with them, and if they want to come to the PDQ Bach concert at 8, they oughta. It's gonna be cool. Then, depending on how many parties are still in progress, I will go either from Jenny's to Julia's to the SAT, cause Tony's given up and let his people go to Julia's (unless he just comes to all the concerts with me, including Sam who is a VERY good tenor from whoom he could learn much, but I don't think it's terribly likely to be approved).

All this on top of the fact that ARTS stuff must be postmarked by Saturday and my SAT is at 8 that morning. And I may be dead of Calculus and Physics by then, anyway. And a dress.

But

We've made slides of all the art... still need to be developed and put in an envelope with the personal information form.

I am using Draco Urbanis as a shortstory, and I'm gonna finish the Grape story for the other one. Thus, it needs to be finished and enveloped.

The personal consciousness essay I wrote in Cambridge will do for an expository writing, and I'd like to find the one I did in last year's English about how artists may or may not be suited to society. Thus, needs to be finished and enveloped.

I've mailed the poetry.

I've mailed the script/libretto.

I've enveloped the novel excerpts (using Rarae and Sam together), and will send them in the big box tomorrow with all the stuff from school.

The classical soprano recording was not good, but it's over, and I have to envelope and label the cd to give to them to mail.

Musical theater video went surprisingly well (that was Tuesday), and they have that, I have only to give them forms.

Composition is not going to work out recorded unless I make a small tape of the first thing I ever wrote; the rest of it will just be copied manuscripts, because I couldn't get Finale to work well on the school computers. So I'll have Actlet/Scene I of Starbirds (just need to copy), Legend of Alaiah (already copied), and the doodle thing I wrote first (in the midst of copying).

Pop voice is what's stressing me out the most. I'm either recording it tonight when mama gets home from rehearsal and drives us to Joy's, or I don't know when. I'm gonna sing some random classic rock stuff and a Michelle Branch song (we had to have contemporary and I had no idea what to do, so Lisa from HSC saved me with some karaoke cds and pop suggestions which I learned today). But eesh.

So. About that sluttiness. I'm not. I seem to have privately become more of a skank than I would ever have imagined myself to be, but that's not a literal thing. People just assume, and it's amusing to see their reactions to your perceived transgressions. Except when it's your fellow transgressor's eminently unreasonable parents.

Agh! There's so much to accomplish! And then there will be English. I have to finish 47 essays by December 6th. Oh, and Concerto Contest is on Nov 6th. Plus I think I may fail this Cal test and the teacher is also the NHS sponsor and I need to talk to him cause I haven't been to enough meetings and I may be kicked out. But it's okay. I probably won't graduate anyway, cause I need another foreign language credit. My 3 years of German and 1 of Russian don't count, and neither does the LMS Latin unless I get another year. Hmm. And if I do graduate, I may need to actually apply to some colleges. I've turned in Part I to Rice, and done nothing else, college-wise.

Can you tell, I'm stressed?
