It's been a couple days gearing up for Christmas Eve shows at Trinity, so there's that tomorrow, but also I made some presents (and found some other presents), but I don't think I've got them all quite down yet.
Reggie needed some food this evening, so we traipsed gleefully to the Hobbit Cafe, where the spinach-mushroom quesadillas are to die for and everything is covered in Tolkienalia (apparently there were Huge Lines on the evenings before midnight movie releases). Love it.
I've been mainlining Legend of the Seeker over the last couple days while making stuff, too, because it's so bad that despite the glorious New Zealand visuals (and this glorious Australian visual) it's almost more fun to listen to the terrible dialogue by very earnest Kiwis failing at American accents. It's come to the point where I almost think I might be able to do better Kiwi accents than they do American. I could be wrong, as I've never tried it, but I can certainly identify the phonological features they're missing.
