Well, that was interesting. Worth a summary, though not a chronicle.

Just got back from the cast party. Not mine, of course. The opera doesn't close until Tuesday night. No, it was a Dan's House cast party. For Urinetown.

I seem to be adopted, by bizarrely popular gay acclaim rather than desert or personal merit, into any cast containing the boys or any members of a show I've been in. There was some creep factor, and there was some awesomeness. Let me just reiterate for the benefit of my readership how awesome Paul Early is. Dan makes a good pillow when he's near passing out. It was good to see Burfy and Nicky, and I forgot how loud music gets at parties.

Okay, summary. I have a church gig in the morning, and Stephan came in the living room to sleep. I guess I should try to crash.

Hey, it was great of you to come to the party, as well as dragging people to our show. I'm going to try to hit the opera on closing night -- all my homework is due Monday and Tuesday, but I remain gloriously free on Tuesday night, thanks to Urinetown finally being over.

Why, thanks. I'm generally kind of there by default if a party is at Dan's house, especially lately while my house is occupied, but I'm really glad I went. And I practically had to frog-march Bryan to the show, but I think he liked it.

Yay! Opera! You may want to call 8000 and reserve a ticket; Tuesday's audience will be half full of Chinese people, so it may be sold out faster than you'd expect.
