Last night, I had dinner a friend from earlyish childhood whom I hadn't seen in about 15 years. It was good to see her, but what a weird focus of perspective. She's a singer on a cruise ship, and they were in for a night. My mom and I went to get her mom from the airport and took her to the port. How strange.
