Songwriting was extra awesome when we ran it ourselves (Hankus is in Amsterdam), and I sort of acquired Leah and Nedelka as an a cappella ensemble after an extended conversation on the sidewalk in front of Jordan. So that should be cool. And the majority of the Songwriting class has agreed it'd be great to keep meeting next semester when the class is no longer official.

I expect to have done well on the ear training midterm. I got to leave 45 minutes early because I didn't feel like I needed the repeats. So I went home and made a bunch of flax cookies for travel rations, and then a bunch of real cookies for roommates to remember me by while I'm gone (and for Julie to eat on the road). Julie arrived around 6 for a little (coincidentally while I was at the store replacing all the eggs I'd used) before going to dinner with some Boston friends, and then came back as I was working on the transcription of My Love. Which I just finished. So I can print it tomorrow before class, so I can take it to Tony when we get to Philly tomorrow night.

Tragically, I forgot to tell Stephan to buy a ticket, and the show is sold out, so I don't know what we'll do, but hopefully something will come up. I haven't been to a concert with him in years, and I think he'd dig the Crash Kings live. I mean, who wouldn't? But he loves their album already. ARGH.

Sheets printed. Ready for Ted's ensemble. So ready. And for it to be done, so we can make tracks to Philly. I actually woke up at 4:30, 6, 6:45, 7:10, 7:30, 7:45, and finally gave up and got out of bed at 7:58. I'd intended to sleep till 8:30 so I could get the right amount, but I get restless before traveling, and I was so excited to have finished My Love and eagerly contemplating all the steps I needed to take before leaving for this weekend's adventure, making sure I hadn't forgotten anything (anything more dire than telling Stephan to buy a ticket, which is still bothering me; I do hope we can get him in somehow).

And so I left home around 8:45 and printed the music and now have time to kill before rehearsal starts. Luckily, there is an internet in the computer lab right next to the basement where we rehearse. Also, I have a book.

I may or may not get any homework done this weekend. The drives are long, but who does homework on drives?
