Yeah, I got by on work over the weekend. Did just enough that I'm not totally screwed now, but I should have done more. What took the time, though, was spending all Saturday making an entire Anglo-Saxon dress out of the brocade I got on Friday afternoon. While listening to Sarah Vaughan's recording of Lover Man, so it sort of counts as half-practicing. The dress is awesome, and thought I futzed around a lot on the internet and with TV shows yesterday, I did also practice ear training a little, and transcribe what I needed to for both World Ensemble this morning and the meeting with Dave Schockett that happens in about half an hour.

However, I want to have another CK song down by Friday, and I haven't started. Also, lessons on Wednesday and midterm in Ear Training on Thursday. Also, registration for next semester starts today. So does recital booking. And I should start setting the gears in motion for my DMA applications soon if I want it to be next year. Brent's out gigging so much and Tony has a church job and the opportunity to make nearly a hundred bucks in tips a night at the Manor over the weekends, I'm feeling particularly shiftless and parasitic, especially since I have nothing to work on for Dan. So, also, I should get a job. Or, failing that, find some gigs for the me-Simon-Andy band, and if I get really ambitious, put together some stuff for the me-Brent-Liz band. AHHHH I'M USELESS

Not really, just lazy and ignorant of how to actually live in the world. I have lived in school for all my life, so this is kind of a good transition.
