Amazing River City Extension show upstairs at the Middle East that Julie got guestlisted into and I got to be her +1, amazing dinner during the second half of the second openers and the headliners with Julie and Jo on the other side of the wall at the Middle East (who knew, their food is both inexpensive and excellent!), and amazing talk with half the band afterwards. They all (especially the pianist and the frontman, but also the tour manager) give spectacular hugs. Turns out they're playing in CT tomorrow, and if Jo can get out of work in time she'll swing by and take me with her.
