Ohh I need to do something. I haven't. We got bánh mì at Cali this afternoon and then went to the Code building to see what would be required of the build on Maroneal. Tony called while I was sleeping in the car, to say he got an audition at Medieval Manor, which is exciting.
Went home and tried to do some Dan work but it wasn't really ready yet, so I went upstairs and read some more instead of practicing because Dan needs noise on while he's working and so the TV was on all afternoon. I need to quit not-going-away. Though, also, I didn't know if we'd all be hanging later so I didn't want to miss it.
Joodles came by to do work but he was done with the online document for the week, so we hung a bit and then he said he'd work on a video in studio where his computer was. I volunteered to go with him, since I had beading still to do and I needed to get out of the house and I like being around as much as I can anyway. It was surprisingly satisfying to just chill and do relatively separate work with the occasional interaction. Despite an evil conspiracy by the computer to keep AfterEffects from exporting a version of the video file that would play. He rebuilt the project from scratch twice, with different elements once, and it would not export properly. He gave up and dropped me off before he went home for a run and an early crash to try and vent the frustration.
We talked about how the structurelessness of summer projects is not conducive to progress for either of us, so maybe I'll wake up at a decent hour and go to Shepherd and spend the day where the piano and the TV don't have to be in competition. Also, less internet distraction.
Ow. I ate too many tea-flavored mints with sorbitol. Disgruntlement of digestion.
