Last lesson of the semester with Dominique this morning was fairly productive re: that song about how pianists are hot. Also, the troubling transitions in Blindsided. I might as well really kill that song, since it has taken so long to come together.
And then the day was blissfully empty of obligations. I went to Firestone and got copies of two more of the three concert recordings I've been in this semester that came in since last time I asked for them. I read a ludicrous amount of gen SG1 fic and then went on a grocery adventure to get pudding (I now have 6 jello cup sixpacks, in assorted flavors, since I seem to be going through them like a popular 7-year-old's birthday party). Also, I watched the best clav solo ever recorded about eight times in a row. Oh, that reminds me, I wore my newly blinged-out band shirt to my lesson and the grocery store and everywhere and it is thoroughly inspiring. New transcriptions start tomorrow.
