Borrowed a sewing machine from a Cambridge SCAdian. Attempting to thread and utilize. We'll see how this goes.
And take 2 is loaded. Still rushing, still screwing up the changes at the bridge, but I WILL PREVAIL before this roadtrip.
Also, this sewing machine is mystifying me. I've loaded and threaded everything properly, even took off the extension table, but it seems to be designed in such a way as to make it impossible for the needle to even have contact with the bobbin thread, let alone pick it up. They're like two inches away from each other in a solid, unmoving block. That makes starting difficult.
