Last night's concert went surprisingly well. So did the presentation I had to give on La Calisto for the scenes program. I've received compliments on the character bit, so I must be okay at becoming an arrogant, powerful, lecherous Greek god. It was certainly easier to answer questions in-character than to explain the plot. Yay, Baroque farces.

It's been a hazy week, spent mostly at Stephan's, huddling before his fireplace and studying for various finals. Today was the last day of actual school, but I still have a Ling final, a Ling paper, and some program notes to write before December 20th. My shoulders have taken the brunt of my stress, apparently, since I am not worried and they are set in cement.

Now the careful scheduling of the partying must be undertaken. I can't make it to tonight's ItW reunion because of HSC concert, but I'll probably go to Parker's thing afterwards. Tomorrow is Dan's birthday party, which I will also be late to because of HSC. I don't know what comes on Sunday, but Monday night is the Piazzolla that is not optional for Reggie. It's going to be amazing. At some point among all this partying I'm also going to have to sleep, since I didn't get much last night (reviewing Ling and editing Stephan's Brahms paper).

I haven't got a reply from the registrar about the hypothetical 23 hours for next semester despite the fact that Bryan's already planning t-shirts for the house (we're hardcore dorks), but I do have my audit form for Latin signed, and I need only pick it up and turn it in. Meanwhile, I am procrastinating by the fire, an ultimately pleasant state of affairs. I think there's pizza in the near future, too.
