I went to lunch and store with Dan and got a yoga mat, which is required for Opera Workshop (personally, I'd rather save the $20 and lie on the floor). But the Sonic was good, and it was good to be with him.
I seem to be copyediting the book for Vocal Rep as she writes it concurrently with teaching the class. I know it's probably obnoxious of me, but I can't help doing it, and I might as well give it back to her so she can see what I think. In any case, it's useful for learning the information in the book, but only after I've done it once and read it again.
Stephan and I skived off at 3 to his house to molder before first read-through, and I showed him Bobs albums and Eight Seasons again, and he showed me Tangos and Portuguese tango ancestors and many other things, and then we went to the reading. It was a lovely first reading, and it will only get better.
Tomorrow, though, is orchestra rehearsal for Adams/B9. And so is Wednesday. And Thursday's the concert. But here we go.
