It's amazing how much there is to do without accomplishing anything. And how much time I spend doing mostly nothing at Stephan's house. I had a lesson yesterday (tired, since I stayed up at the Thresher till 5) and studio today (interesting, since it's the first time we've had a studio with Mentzer in which anyone sang). Ben's having disorganized-Shepherd issues, since they don't know who he's supposed to be accompanying, but hopefully his teacher will unmess that up.
Linguistic Analysis today was a trip; we went over the homework, and I had large amounts of mistakes in everything but the extra-credit problems, where the vowels on the stems reduced before vowels in suffixes. Few people in the class got that. Interesting. I talked about those ones with Stephan. But it's cool, because henceforth I am going to do the homeworks with Kim, a girl who's been in classes with me before and seems cool.
I took Stephan to the Secret Vietnamese Sandwich Shop for lunch today. He was amazed and astounded. He showed me what he had in the back seat of his car, and I was unduly excited. He now has a whiteboard. We are going to diagnose things on it. We're such dorks. :D
I may have mentioned this a few thousand times before, but-- this is the life.
