Okay, so I was wrong. The internet has returned. I've spent the last few days wandering aimlessly, trying to find meaning in life without it (not really. I went to Susan's the last few days and spent all day there--plenty of meaning in life).

Sam is holding a charity flopsyfest; you can get a more-or-less drabble from him in any of his fandoms, or an icon if you're very generous. He's an awfully good writer, and the causes are excellent, so I pimp this link with all due pomp.

My computer is more or less okay (and I found my frogs), except that all my important applications, like Photoshop and Sibelius, think I haven't registered them. I'm not sure what to do, since this makes it impossible to save, and I've already registered both. So I'm watching some DVDs instead of doing things I actually want to do.

David and Grandjo got here a couple days ago, but David's always on the phone, so we haven't done anything cool yet. I have word that some Glaser cousin's wife or other is pregnant again; sheesh, guys. Their generation is scaring me. It means I'm old enough to have kids. Now, while several House episodes seem to indicate that was really literally true when I was 13, it's still a scary thought. Yikes. My cousins are breeding like... octopi. They're having thousands all at once.

In any case, I have little to do besides sit around and work on my chainmail shirt, and my hads are sore at the moment, so I'm reviving my oldest TV obsession and refreshing my memory of West Wing's fifth season before I move on to the sixth (for once, I will have seen a season before Stephan). I would rather be writing a six-part a capella arrangement of Story In Your Eyes, but it'd be much easier to do on Sibelius than on paper, and my lazy factor has not yet been outweighed by my bored factor.
