It's 6/6/6, and that makes me happy. Almost happy enough to counteract the fact that I had to go to a free tax-credit information lunch at Post Oak Grill. A few hours of MacGyver might reduce my irritation back to normal proportions.
I will make a list of reasons the tax credit affordable housing program is against my principles, and I will make a list of reasons paying taxes is against my principles, and see which list is shorter. At least the food was decent, though not as fantastic as you'd expect from a place the former president regularly frequents. Then again, he is a Good Ole Boy, so he may not necessarily go for the fanciest of the fancy.
Yeah, I will light a zillion candles (including one in my snake candle holder) and burn some incense for the demons of the day, and watch MacGyver, and try not to think about money.
