These are the kinds of nights that, when looking back on a concatenation of them, don't seem like they accomplished much, but are collectively known as some of the best times ever. Stephan seems to catalyze that kind of night. I don't know; we watched and tracked the recycling and development of motives in Evita (first the movie [AntonioBanderascansing?!] and then the OBCR), ate two entire pizzas by ourselves, analyzed Pierrot Lunaire's lack of analyzable features and directly contradicted Dr. Brandt with support from a well-respected Schoenberg authority, verified the fact that Ben is now a movie star (he was in Prague at the wrong time and ended up waving a Danish flag out of focus for 17 frames in the credits of what may just be the worst movie ever), jammed out to the Bat Boy soundtrack, and watched a particularly good West Wing episode. As well as the first scene of Mr. Willis of Ohio. In which I win. The original three are dwindle, dwarf and dwell; Dwight, as a proper name, does not count, but I still maintain that "dweeb" is well-enough-attested in English to break the three-word rule for starting with "dw."

Mm, nothing like a completely unproductive day. Comin' atcha from Dan's room, after three hours of doing a pleasant nothing with him; previous to that, there was a "runthrough" in the Sid commons with half the cast, and before that it was three other hours sleeping in Dan's bed waiting for the runthrough, because Chorale was canceled due to lack of music and I didn't want to wake up in time to get to Sid from my house.

And before that, the only interesting thing of the entire day: Shepherd Singers was highly entertaining. And productive, I suppose. But over lunch, more sleep. And before lunch, the state of catatonia induced by Classical Music History, which might as well be sleep. I tried to skip with Stephan and go eat food instead of listening to inanities about Beethoven's Tempest sonata, but I couldn't do it.

I don't have the temperament to skip; I imagine I would make a pretty paranoid pothead, considering the crippling scourge of guilt that hits me when I even contemplate missing class intentionally. Anyway; history was a waste of time, and Logic before it. I suppose it's making up for the amazing night I had last night.

Well, foo on me; I got a lot of not-very-restful sleep today, so we'll see how it goes at work tonight. There's yoga tomorrow morning. Urgh, I am going to be in no shape to party tomorrow night, but then again most of the cast has the Bat Plague, so if they know what's good for them, there will be no party.

I got reprimanded for talking. Oops. First time that's happened. Evan came and sat down next to me and I seem to respond when he talks to me. Been here for an hour and haven't checked anything yet. Hm. There are cookies, though, and pizza. I am going to go through so much withdrawal after the show. This is my two weeks of Bacchanalia; eating, singing... well, that's pretty much it. No wine, no women, but song. All right.

ETA: I just got sent to Photo, since I know what would be a spoiler to print, to go through ~600 photos and pick one for the second page of the Bat Boy review. I need a cd (or three, as it would have to be) with all of these on them. A lot of them are fantastic. And some of them are hilarious.
