So... I'm back. Flew in Sunday evening, died yesterday, have been reincarnated today. Shall be a gingerbread man, apparently. I'm going to post trip updates backdated, so if you want to read about Ballet Folklorico, Six Flags Mexico, the Zocalo Cathedral and its half-naked Aztec dancers, the Teothuacan Pyramids, Nabucco's madness, Nezahualcoyotl Hall's awesomeness, Zaccaria the stage hog, Abigaille's eye infection, ear infection, and 102-degree fever show, and the DEP (Devious Evil Plan) Affair--
then you must keep an eye on my calendar archive for the week of August 23-30. Believe me, at least four of these days will actually be worth reading about. I have the obsidian frog, the Aztec calendar tapestry, and one other (marvelous, tremendous, amazing) thing (that I can't believe they let me take through customs) to prove it.
In recent news, I was cast in the opera during my absence. It was interesting. First thing I heard from Dan when I got to the black couches was that I should go fill out my conflict form and get fitted to be a gingerbread man. Just my luck; first year I get to do opera, we're doing Hansel and Gretel. Sigh.
Stephan's house is cool and amazing, and he recorded all our classes while I was gone, so I'm going to listen to them now and take notes.
Oh, yes, and Dolly had four puppies between 4 in the morning and 2 this afternoon. They are very loud, so hopefully they will all live.
