It's 4:30 in the morning. Dragonheart, its sequel, and A Knight's Tale are over. I have had a medieval night. Chaucer is my hero. Hark, the Herald Sings!
I now have an $80 check and I am done with the evil Baroque ensemble forever. Well, maybe not forever, and they're actually very nice people, but I am tired of 2-hour baroque concerts. Eric called near the end of the special features of PotC (Auctioneer he has been dubbed, and Auctioneer he appeared on the screen) and recruited me for another gig tomorrow night. President's dinner or something. I had 15 minutes of rehearsal with him and the rest of the quartet, because I didn't want to leave in the middle of Pirates with Susan. We did a lot today. How much? El Dorado, Pirates, ice cream, a whole tin of Altoids... I ate corned beef hash, too, so I will not die today, but I seriously must stop with the sugar now. Concert was wobbly. But I did make it outside of Jones in time for Eric to take me downtown for the gig. I had to come back here after rehearsing with him, because my music was here. I was thinking Pirates though, through the concert.
Oh, and last night I spent another hour with the extra features of A Knight's Tale. I have half of the commentary done; I decided at 6:00 in the morning that I was too sleepy to appreciate it. Paul Bettany rocks my world. I had no idea that's who he was. Nabil wants to come over, and I have not seen Shrek 2 yet, and mama got it. Hm.
ALSO. Marathons are soon to be had. RotK is out. Will be acquired. Robert has bigscreen and huge speakers. Finals week is almost over for PVA.
Is it too ambitious a Christmas project to compose a song for each 33 of my most interesting relatives if I start now?
