Probably Shosti8 is not frequently used as a going-to-sleep song, but I have listened to it everynight since I got here.
Having been jumped upon, tickled (luckily no effect, easy to resist), vroomed at, shaken, attacked with ice, and given up on, I got up independently an hour later and nyahed at Steven and Carl. I watched them play CivIII for awhile, and then! Later, before we watched Mona Lisa Smile (jury's still out on that one), we had a multitudinous LAN party and played multiplayer CivIII with five computers. Cole brought his own. I wasn't losing! Surprisingly. Though I always did like turn-based strategy. It's fun to gang up on the computer players.
Steven knew of this thing on PBS, so after we messed with the timer VCR recorder and watched a DVD, we watched "1421: The Year China Discovered America" and it was cool. I don't think the guy has enough evidence to seriously consider his hypothesis, but it's a cool hypothesis, and it was fun to watch the medieval Portuguese experts and the Chinese experts and this random hypothesizer argue in the third person.
I'll probably be running away from here within a couple days, cause we need to go see everybody in the Northeast before we actually go to the workshop. This may or may not mean less internet. But it's been nice while I've had it intermittently.
