After school, after Robin's/Miguel's recital. Hmm. I like Poulenc. Led Zeppelin.

Small squee I emit: apparently in July there's been a new concert added, cause Houston is earmarked for a performance of... drumroll.... LOTR soundtrack! I AM SO EXCITED! But first, Mozart. It's okay, Mozart requiem is good. But ee, Howard Shore score! Yaaay! Must learn elvish better, memorize the words before we get the music and be obnoxious about correcting people's pronunciation.

Last concert night of the series was surprisingly not a letdown. There were a few glitches, but overall I'm glad tonight was the night Reggie came. He was happy about it, and we spent quite awhile rhapsodizing and crossing the street to say hi to the crowd at the Lancaster, before his straight-laced mom got tired of talking to mine and zoomed him away. I went back and sat across from Salad and played with the fire for awhile before mama came (she'd been talking to Darla). It was a comparatively quiet night out, last one for awhile. Salad has a barbecue on Sunday, though we're singing with Roger and won't make it till late. Should still be fun though.
