2506 out of 3474. I'm still going to call it a Loth ticket, because I was never in Zone 47 and now that they're merged, I still just do fantasy art.
Raaa. My nose is stuffed and my lungs are full of glue. This does not bode well for singing on Friday.

Hmm. I wonder how many people have been in this dilemma and been unable to express it?
It's weird how I can be moved to tears by sitting under the piano listening to a fantasy in e minor, and then cry in the car listening to Rach play his own elegie in g minor and think about how hopeless I am at composition, but getting home and having news of a semidistant relative's death doesn't affect me.
Avalon badgered me about the word stress in the art song, and accused me of not listening to him. I listened to him, I just tried to ignore his suggestion because I liked mine better. But he's fluent in Spanish and has been composing for years and years, as he kept reminding me, so I let him change it. It doesn't take away from the piece, per se, but I liked it better the other way, even changed so the syllabic stress fell correctly... but he had to have it that way. He tried to do the same thing with Gity's sop/clarinet/violin piece... I may get vicious in a second, here. I really like the unorthodox way she set that particular text, and I'm the one who's going to be singing it...
Rgh. Anyway. My foot is bleeding. I will go wash it. And then I will doubtless be recruited to hang more pictures.
