King's Singers. Workshop. Two HOURS.
Forget Pops piano rehearsal... we made it and snuck into the second half of the concert at Stude, and they sang New Day with Christmas words. I cried. Paul looked twice and nodded, and Stephen waved at me as they walked off the stage after the encore.
I got all their autographs, and they all recognized me, and they all congratulated me and Madrigals on our singing, and Stephen (meltbass) sat and talked a bit, and mentioned he noticed my shoes, and was amused at how I sat and wondered if I had legs, and shook my hand and said see you again, and Robin held the door, and Gabriel and Philip both endured Mama's blathering for longer than I would have, and David stood and let us in his conversation with his English friend, and Paul was all friendly and they all said such nice stuff...
I was basically a slavering fangirl, grinning like an idiot.
Oh, before we sat down, during intermission, a boy from some outa town HS who was at the workshop also recognized me and came and told me how awesome he thought we sounded at the workshop, and if he called the school would they tell him how to buy a cd? :)
