(no subject)

Tickets are expensive things, and apparently they don't come under the province of the money mama's been using to get everything else for me I could possibly want (like tuition for the actualy schooling). She doesn't seem to be tremendously worried, though; she'll find something to do about it. We're already in deep debt, though. She makes no effort to hide that (all kindsa lawsuits going on, and the foundation problems didn't help, either), but expects me not to worry. Maybe I'll walk around the village and along all those shops on Bissonet, and they'll find something for me to do that doesn't involve a whole lot of peopleness. Or maybe even if it does. Hey, maybe I can get a place in one of those trendy little shops for my arani. We'll see.

Oh, but today was the first day of Government. It's better. He did make me go home and get some shoes during the break, but he's a lot more interesting and engaging than the Econ teacher, who didn't know much about his subject anyway (or at least didn't teach much of it to us). He also went to PVA. Interesting. However, lunch is only an hour now, so I spend half of it walking home and back... probably oughta start getting ready to go. And yes, I'm coming today, Nia. Maybe the tutorials will work from over there. Unless I have to leave immediately after I get it.
