Yay. Rehearsal at noon today, for three hours. I'm ambivalent about my HSC reaudition, because we had to start over several times, sometimes because of me, but it seems like the other quartets did even worse than we. So I dunno. It's been indicated that I'm singing the fugue, which he's cutting some people from, so I guess I'm continuing for this season.

Finished India's wire commission for which she paid five dollars already, so I'll give it to her on Monday. And I'll also get ten dollars on Monday for boarding school Jennifer (I dunno her last name)'s last payment on her gold and green one. That one was so pretty. I have to make another one like that. Agh. I have a lot of money. Or, what would be a lot of money if I didn't owe it all to Mama for the wire. I got five from Codi's bracelet, four from miscellaneous pendants, twenty from Jennifer's down payment, and five from India's down payment. Plus the 76 from madrigal dinner. soon I oughtsa be able to pay her and start making money. Hm. Actually, I think the 76 is in the bank. Hm.

I can barely wait to... never mind. Shh. Hee. I have my own, too. It's not as interesting as some. Like Jennifer's. Ai. I need a copy of the Black Silver, White Gold song. I just do. I'm being frustrated with copper because it doesn't go with green as well as gold. Even with purple.

Here're some interesting observations: Panthera tigris tigris, the Indian tiger, is not the biggest kind. It's the orangest, though. It has white on the undersides of everything to flatten it when there's light (white turns grey near the bottom and blends in with the darker orange, so it looks flat). Chosen as a symbol of majesty by kings and emperors. Muscular power is concentrated in the forelimbs. When annoyed, a warning rumble often precedes snarling. In high-intensity anger/fear, they hiss and spit like domestic cats. They swim readily, and need a lot of fresh water to drink as well. Pawprints are wider than they are long. Chiefly nocturnal, primarily solitary, except at mating season, although tigresses with young have been seen hunting together in obvious harmony. Play is extremely important for cub development, and continues before mating. If something huge has been killed, several tigers may converge, and then a social order is observed. Litters vary from one to six, but rarely more than two survive. Early hunting efforts are clumsy; they're not born knowing how to hunt, and their mothers have to teach them, over a couple years. Chasing is not prevalent: they're not exceptional runners, preferring to sneak up. Everybody swims or stands up to their neck in water, when it's hot. Even Indian tigers have been seen living well above the snow line. Favorite prey is gaur, or wild Indian cow-type thing. The chital, barasingha, and Sambar hinds, which are all kinds of deer. Meat is bolted rather than chewed. They sleep after hunting/eating. Smell is important in daily life, but much less so than sight. If raised to be friendly, tigers can be like domestic cats (except bigger), and friendly with other tigers and all manner of other animals, including humans. Sometimes they jump like dolphins half-out of the water, for fun. They use patrol paths through their territory/hunt ranges, which villagers avoid (poachers ambush).Panther tigris altaica, the Siberian, is yellower, bigger, and fuzzier. It eats moose, deer, bears, wolves, hens, and domestic animals...Tigers probably originated in Siberia and moved south, evolving accordingly. They spend a lot of time washing, and, though not averse to mud, don't really like to be dirty for long.

Intersting, yes? No? Comment. Observations from those other than myself are probably more objective.
