Back from rehearsal (two in a row) and finally got to see the puppies, the first of which came into the world at 3:18 this morning. They're TINY. It's frightening. They fit in one hand. They're velvet. Eesh. There are seven; three black girls, two black boys, a creamy-brown boy and a slightly darker brown girl. They're very loud, also. They sometimes sound like cats. Baby's scared of them, Zair just wants to have his head rubbed, so he rubs it on them oor tries to get them to play, and Shadow and Umbra ignore them. Prince likes them. It's amazing: they're about half the size of his nose, and one day they'll grow to be as big as he is. Ipe. I like them.
